2.5D Means it's a 2D Platformer rendered in 3D... But I bet you knew that allready so I feal like a Heal... I have the Wii version and thought it was cool... then I saw Vids of the XBox360 version and then said "WTF!? WII GOT GYPED! XBox has a WAY Better Version!" heck, it makes me want to get an X-Box just for Sonic Unleased (Which I was wanting to avoid with the Wii version. I hate it that most of my favorite Series and games are comeing out for EVERY Console except Wii or DS... It sucks... Final Fantacy Dissidia, The Better Sonic Unleased, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts...)

no, 2.5D is how sonic can go from a platformer going (mostly) to the right, into running toward the screen or away. And being able to switch the camera between those modes.
